Helmut Langeder's work has often been compared to that of French Impressionists or that of Maurice Cullen and Clarence Gagnon. His luminous paintings, often done in plein air have been admired by many art collectors as well
as major Galleries.

LUMINOUS
LANDSCAPES
MOODY
CITYSCAPES
With a background of studies towards architecture and in Graphic Arts, Helmut has applied his skills in creating urban images that one can often relate to. His wife, Michele, who was raised in the city, is often his sounding board. Her critique is always relevant.
“In both his landscapes and city scenes one senses a luminosity and ambiance that are out of the ordinary”

LUMINOUS WATERCOLOUR
Having painted with oils since the age 14,
Helmut started Watercolours about ten years ago. Despite common belief about how difficult or unforgiving it is, he has mastered this medium from day one. "Keeping it loose and luminous" is his style. He exhibits his watercolours mostly in private solo exhibitions.
